A Bit About CCF Accountancy

CCF Accountancy was set up with one aim, to put clients first.

This means that apart from being well equipped to help you with your compliance requirements, we also have experience of working with businesses and understand the issues that affect you – cash flow, obtaining finance, increasing sales, improving profitability, reducing business outgoings, minimising the amount of tax payable.

We offer a fixed fee solution to your accountancy and taxation compliance needs, this service covers:

  • Accounts preparation
  • Company and personal tax returns
  • Unlimited telephone and email support

Plus, what you probably don't get as standard from a lot of accountants:

  • Free seminars with subjects relevant to your business
  • Regular contact
  • Business support and advice

All of this can be covered by monthly payments, if required, to spread the cost and relieve any cash flow impact on your business.

At CCF we feel that our services are an investment that will add real value to the success of your business.

A Bit About CCF Teresa Bowe

Having started out training as a tree surgeon, I returned from college to help run the family business, a garden centre.

In 1997 I met my boyfriend who was self employed and decided to go on a bookkeeping course to assist me in looking after his books. I discovered I was quite good at it and before I knew what had happened, I was enrolled on a course to become a professional accountant.

I worked at the Swallow St George hotel, then as a management accountant before joining DSC as an accountant. I then left to join Brays where I stayed for nearly seven years, qualifying as an accountant with the ACCA and as a tax adviser with the CIOT. I was made a director in 2008. I left to start-up CCF Accountancy and Tax in March 2010.

The path I have taken has taught me some skills that many accountants never get to experience, running a non-accountancy business and working 'on the other side' within a company's accounting function. This means I have a really good understanding of the problems encountered by small businesses first hand. I also realise that the accounts are not always the first priority, running the business is.
